Coaching Agreement
This Coaching Agreement (“Agreement”) is entered into between:
Coach: American Accent Training with Jess (“the Coach”)
Client: Any individual who purchases, books, or enrolls in the Coach’s services (“the Client”)
Effective Date: This Agreement becomes effective on the date the Client purchases or enrolls in the Coach’s services.
1. Services Provided
The Coach agrees to provide coaching services to the Client. Coaching sessions are delivered online (e.g., Zoom). Two types of coaching are available:
(a) Accent Coaching
Structured program (6 or 12 weeks).
Focus: pronunciation, rhythm, stress, intonation, connected speech, and overall communication clarity.
(b) Conversation + Feedback Sessions
Available as single sessions or in packages of 4 or 8 sessions.
Focus: real-life conversation, fluency, and personalized feedback on pronunciation, grammar, and communication.
Note: Coaching is educational. It does not replace therapy, medical treatment, legal advice, or financial consulting.
3. Client Responsibilities
The Client agrees to:
Attend sessions on time and come prepared.
Complete any assigned practice.
Use provided materials for personal use only (not to share or resell).
4. Payment & Refunds
Full payment is required before the first session or package begins.
All payments are non-refundable once the program has started.
If the Client chooses to withdraw early, no refunds will be issued.
5. Rescheduling & Cancellations
Sessions may be rescheduled with at least 48 hours’ notice.
Cancellations, no-shows, or rescheduling requests made with less than 48 hours’ notice will result in loss of that session.
In case of emergency or technical issues, the Coach will make reasonable efforts to reschedule.
6. Confidentiality
All Client information shared during sessions is confidential, except where disclosure is required by law.
Sessions may not be recorded or shared without prior written consent from both parties.
7. Disclaimers & Limitations
The Coach is not a licensed therapist, psychologist, medical professional, or lawyer.
Coaching does not guarantee specific results. Success depends on the Client’s effort and practice.
The Client agrees the Coach is not liable for any damages, losses, or decisions resulting from coaching.
8. Intellectual Property
All original materials created by the Coach (including handouts, recordings, and resources) remain the property of the Coach.
From time to time, the Coach may also provide practice sheets, handouts, or resources created by other professionals. These are used with permission and remain the intellectual property of their respective owners. Such materials are provided solely for the Client’s personal use during the coaching program and may not be copied, distributed, or shared outside the program.
The Client is granted a personal, non-transferable license for individual use.
Materials may not be copied, resold, or used commercially.
9. Termination
Either party may terminate with written notice.
If the Client terminates early, no refunds will be given.
If the Coach terminates early, a prorated refund will be issued for unused sessions.
10. Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec, Canada.
11. Acceptance of Agreement
By completing a purchase, booking a session, or otherwise enrolling in a program, the Client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to the terms of this Coaching Agreement.
