Welcome to American Accent Training with Jess (“Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). By accessing or using our website, courses, coaching services, and any related products (the “Services”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, please do not use our Services.

1. Use of Services 
-You must be at least 18 years old to purchase our Services.
-You agree to use our Services only for lawful purposes and in compliance with these Terms. 
-You may not reproduce, distribute, share, or resell our content without prior written permission.

2. Program Access & User Accounts
-Access to course areas, replay libraries, and memberships is for individual use only.
-Login sharing is strictly prohibited.
-Course access is lifetime unless otherwise stated.

3. Recording & Consent

Zoom Coaching Sessions

1-on-1 Coaching
-1-on-1 coaching sessions may be recorded for the client’s personal review.
-These recordings are strictly confidential and will never be shared publicly or added to the Member Library without the client’s written consent.
-Clients may request at any time that their sessions not be recorded, and this request will be fully respected.

Group Coaching (Bootcamps, Inner Circle, Group Programs)
-Group Zoom coaching sessions are not recorded to protect participant privacy.
-No student audio, video, or participation from group Zoom calls will be saved or shared.

Streamyard Teaching Sessions (Recorded Lessons)
-Teaching sessions, workshops, or lessons may be recorded using Streamyard or similar software.
-These recordings capture only Jess and do not record students’ voices or faces.
-Replays may be added to the private Members Library for ongoing member access.

Questions During Recorded Lessons
-If students type questions during a Streamyard session, their name or initials may appear on the screen.
-Students may submit with initials or anonymously if preferred.

3. Accent Reviews & Voice Note Feedback
-Students may submit voice messages for personalized feedback.
-Accent Reviews involve recording both the student’s voice and Jess’s feedback to allow for complete review and comparison.
-These feedback recordings may be added to the Member Library for educational purposes.
-If a student prefers their Accent Review to remain fully private, they must request this in writing before submitting their recording and may be required to pay a private-review upgrade fee.
-Private assessments (such as in 1-on-1 programs) remain confidential unless written permission is given.

 5. Comments & Community Participation
-Comments in the Kajabi course area, lessons, or within the Members Library may be visible to other paying members.
-Students should avoid posting sensitive personal information in public areas.
-Private communications (email, private requests, private reviews) remain confidential.

6. Payments & Refunds
-All prices are listed in USD.
-Full pre-payment is required before receiving booking links for coaching or access to online courses.
-Payments are processed securely via Stripe and/or PayPal. 

Refund Policy:
-All digital products, courses, recorded lessons, and memberships are non-refundable.
-All coaching sessions, packages, and programs are non-refundable once purchased. Please review the Cancellation & Session Policies below for rescheduling rules and expiration timelines.
-Unused sessions remain non-refundable.

7. Coaching Session Policies (Applies to All Coaching Services)

48-Hour Rescheduling / Cancellation Policy
-Sessions may be cancelled or rescheduled up to 48 hours in advance with no penalty.
-Changes made within 48 hours result in loss of that session and payment.
-Exceptions may be made for true emergencies or major technical issues at our discretion.

Time Zone Responsibility
-Sessions are scheduled through Calendly links provided after payment.
-Calendly automatically converts times to your local time zone. You are responsible for confirming the correct times when booking.
-If you schedule incorrectly, a make-up session is not guaranteed, and the session may be forfeited.

Commitment & Respect
We respect your time and ask that you respect ours. Please be dedicated to showing up consistently and honoring session times, as this ensures the best results and fairness for all clients.

8. Program-Specific Policies

1-on-1 Private Coaching
-Sessions may be recorded for the client’s private review (never shared without written consent).
-If requested, sessions will not be recorded.
-Sessions must be used within the timeframe stated at purchase.

Additional Policies for 12-Session Packages
-Full pre-payment is required to reserve your 12-session package.
-Packages are designed as an intensive 12-week program, to be completed within a 4-month window from the purchase date.
-You may skip up to 2 sessions during this period.
-All sessions must be completed before the expiration date provided at purchase. Unused sessions expire and are non-refundable.
-Booking links are single-use and will expire.
(Example: If you purchase on June 12, 2025, your package must be completed by October 12, 2025.)

Additional Policies for 6-Week Programs 
-Full pre-payment is required to reserve your 6-week program.
-The program must be completed within an 8-week window from the purchase date to allow for 1–2 weeks of flexibility.
-You may skip up to 1 session during this period.
-All sessions must be completed before the expiration date provided at purchase. Unused sessions expire and are non-refundable.
-Booking links are single-use and will expire.
(Example: If you purchase on June 12, 2025, your program must be completed by August 12, 2025.)

Additional Policies for Single Sessions
-After completing a 6- or 12-session program, you may book single sessions on an as-needed basis.
-The standard cancellation policy (48 hours in advance) applies.

5-Week Bootcamp (Group Coaching)
-Zoom coaching sessions are not recorded.
-Teaching lessons (recorded separately via Streamyard) may be added to the Member Library.
-1-on-1 Bootcamp assessments remain private unless written permission is provided.

Jess’s Inner Circle Membership
-Monthly/Annual membership with ongoing access to resources.
-Group coaching on Zoom is not recorded.
-Streamyard teaching sessions may be recorded (only Jess appears) and added to the Member Library.
-Accent Reviews involve recording both the student’s voice and Jess’s feedback to allow for complete review and comparison.
-These recordings may be added to the private Members Library so other paying members can learn from the examples.
-If a student prefers their Accent Review to remain fully private, they must request this in writing before submitting their recording and may be required to pay a private-review upgrade fee.
-Membership renews monthly until cancelled by the member.

 

9. Intellectual Property
-All lesson replays, worksheets, PDFs, videos, audio files, accent feedback recordings created by Jess, and all other course materials are the exclusive property of American Accent Training with Jess.
-Students receive a personal, non-transferable license for educational use only.
-Students may not copy, download, redistribute, or share any materials without written consent.

10. No Guarantees & Disclaimer
We do not guarantee specific results. Your progress depends on your effort, practice, and participation.
The Services are educational and not a substitute for speech therapy or medical treatment.

11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any damages arising from your use of our Services. You agree to use our Services at your own risk.

12. Privacy Policy 
Your use of our Services is also governed by our Privacy Policy (linked separately in the footer).

 9. Changes to Terms 
We may update these Terms at any time. The latest version will always be posted on this page.
